What Should You Expect at Your First Visit?

Whenever I’m welcoming in new patients, I take a different approach than other dentists. Before beginning any treatment, you’ll have a chance to sit down and get to know me and our office a bit better. For example, you’re welcome to tell me why you came to Parkside Dental, your specific smile-related concerns you’d like to address, and how I can help. It has always been my top priority to treat people right and I look forward to both meeting and exceeding your needs and expectations from the very first appointment and onward.

How Do I Get Emergency Dental Care?

If your dental injury has resulted in a life-threatening condition, like difficulty breathing or swallowing, then your first call should be to 911. For all other dental emergencies, contact our office immediately. From there, we can learn more about your injury, provide you with first-aid instructions (if needed), and do our best to schedule a same-day appointment. That way, Dr. Moneyhun can do what he does best: restore your oral health and pain-free smile. After all, he has trained at the world-renowned Dawson Academy and is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association. So, whether you need root canal therapy or a tooth extraction, you can have peace of mind knowing your smile is in the best hands.

How Do I Find the Best Place to Get Dental Work Done?

When it comes to your smile, there is no room for error. So, finding the best dental practice for your unique needs is crucial. While your first thought may be to search “dentist near me” on Google, the endless page results can quickly overwhelm you. Therefore, we always recommend starting the process by defining what is important to you. Do you want a practice that accepts your insurance? One that offers state-of-the-art dental implants to restore your smile? The answers to questions like these will help you narrow your focus. Next, think about the experience you want. How Can I Make a Same-Day Appointment with a Dentist?

If your once dismissible toothache has begun throbbing or you want to use the unexpected opening in your calendar to schedule your professional checkup and cleaning, it’s always best to give us a call. That way, you can get an immediate response and increase the likelihood of snagging a same-day visit. You’re also free to request an appointment through our website, and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

What Do You Do If You Can’t Afford a Dentist?

When it comes to the care of your teeth and gums, prevention is key. And no oral hygiene routine is complete without six-month checkups and cleanings with your dentist. But what if you are feeling a pinch in your wallet? First, it is important to remember that recent research found that every dollar invested in preventive care can save you between $8 and $50 in cosmetic and restorative treatment in the long run. Plus, if you have dental insurance, most plans cover your biannual visits to make attending them the obvious choice for your smile and your wallet. However, if you don’t have dental benefits, then low-to-no interest financing can help break up the cost of even the most extensive treatments into manageable chunks.
